Branson Schools Underground Data Center is now ONLINE!
DTS has just completed the migration of Branson School's (www.branson.k12.mo.us) entire data center to The Mountain Data Center. A 10 Gigabit Ethernet ring provided by Empire District Electric (www.empiredistrict.com) running on Foundry Networks (www.foundrynet.com) equipment provides ample bandwidth for future growth.
A total of 15 servers are now housed in a secure cage and are served by a dual redundant power feed. The HVAC system provides a dust free 68 degrees at 55% relative humidity. Multiple levels of access control and surveillance ensure the safety of the District's critical data and equipment.
Recent weather events including ice storms and tornadoes further underscore the need to house critical data and equipment in a protected environment.
